Fictional Friday -2

Today was the worst she had in these few months. She felt humiliated, she felt hurt, she felt betrayed, and she felt her world collapsing down to nothing just within few minutes. And all she can do was to accept the truth instead of fighting it. It was the day she learned all those past years she was being delusional. This day had made her felt a lot more things she had ever felt before. Even before she went through things but never felt giving up, but this time she was on the edge.

Today she was tired, tired of falling down and again trying to stand up and walk on the desired path. She was tired of losing; she was now losing her faith in people, in herself.

She returned home. She put all her masks down and broke down. She knew, only she and her Shiva were there and he wasn’t going to judge her. She knew she could say things she actually felt without trying to filter it out. She cried her heart out in front of her Shiva. She let her words bleed, she cried, she complained all she wanted to her Shiva. Shiva being the patient he is, sat down with her listening to all her ramblings, her cries. He didn’t even say a word in between, just sat there holding her hands in his. Shiva knew, how much she was hurting, how much she was fighting within her, with her. Her loud cries made Shiva’s eyes moist. He came closer and holds her in his arms and let her cry till she ran out of tears. She was now at peace, feeling a bit lighter in her heart. She slept on the floor, holder her Shiva’s hand. Shiva was always having been her knight in shining armor. He was the only place she went to vent all out. He knew every single detail of her thoughts, of her desires, of everything. Shiva had that charismatic smile on his face, lightly stroking her hair with so much love. Every stroke filled her with peace and love and light. She knew, with Shiva being by her side, she will not be lost in this vast world.

Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati

After waking up she saw Shiva was still there by her side holding her hands, with eyes still moist. The eyes showed the love she searched in this world but never found. She knew no one can love her the way Shiva does. He was the love himself, and thought why people call him Rudra and scared of him and then she laughed.

Shiva finds it amusing that she was crying her heart out a few hours before and now she is laughing. He asked what is so interesting that makes her laugh like this. Then she said people are so afraid of your anger, but the Shiva I know is the epitome of love and peace. I never felt an ounce of chaos near you. I cannot understand why they call you “The Destroyer”. Shiva smiled at the innocence of her thoughts. Shiva said that he is known with many names, for different reasons and she could also give him a name if she feels like it. And after Shiva said this, silence followed, as she fell into deep thoughts, thinking a name that would fit perfectly her Shiva.
