We All Are Mere Mortal Beings.

We, humans, are weird. First, we believe in divine power, which is supreme of all human beings, which is the creator of all the universe. Then we put another human being, made by the creator, in the place of the divine power, believing that a mortal being is supreme of other mortal beings. Like HOW? Do they not have the same blood, same inner mechanisms like we have? Then what is it about them that makes them supreme, makes them divine? 

Well, in my opinion, it’s our blind faith. We stupid little creatures put our blind faith in them, believing that they can predict and change our fate. But the truth is all they can contribute to changing your life is put some good encouraging words in your ears and minds. And the one changing your fate is and always will be you and you only.

We believe we have a supreme power above us, i.e., GOD. Some believe in God and some don’t. That is understandable to me. But why do we all make a mere human our God? We pretend they have some superpower in them that could take our pain, or heal us in some ways. Why we pray to them and worship them as if they are someone with “not so humanly powers”. Even if they do, does that make them divine?

Why this blind faith? Why is it easier to believe that they had supreme power to change our fate but we cannot? Like how can a mere mortal give you everything you have achieved till now. All those things that you have achieved because of your hard work, patience, and consistency, why give all the credit to someone who just said a few words to you? Faith, belief is good but blindness and stupidity aren’t. 

Let them stay mortal beings and not someone divine and supreme to all of us. Let’s not put our faith in the wrong hands.
